Bonded Fin Heat Sink

For a large amount of heat dissipation in small areas, conventional heatsink design failt to perform. Bonded Fin Heatsinks are presisly made to eliminate this drawback of regular heatsinks.

Bonded Fin Heatsinks have many advantages over the conventional designs:

  • Increased fin count in smaller spaces.
  • Very high fin gap to fin height ratio achieveable (upto 30:1) resulting in an increase in the total heatsink surface area by 2-3 times.
  • The performance is further enhanced by using forced convection.
  • It thus results into a reduced heatsink and overall system volume.

Applications:

  • Thermoelectric modules
  • Uniterruptable power supplies
  • Variable speed motor controls
  • AC welding switches
  • Power rectification equipment
  • Laser power supplies
  • Traction drives

Types of Bonded Heatsinks:

Bonded Fin Heatsinks
Bonded Section Heatsinks
Dual Base Bonded Heatsinks
